UAEU Vice Chancellor Meets with GCC University Presidents
H.E. Dr. Ali Rashid Al Noaimi, UAEU Vice Chancellor, participated in the 2nd Committee Meeting of GCC Universities and Educational Institutions Presidents at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, KSA. The committee is assigned to consider the administrative and financial by-laws of higher education organizations in GCC states.
A numbers of issues were discussed during the meeting such as the administrative and financial regulations of the committee of GCC Universities Presidents, the proposal of the establishment of a GCC Universities Federation and to examine the opportunity of funding current mutual programs in addition to unifying internal systems of the Ministerial Committees, and to make appropriate recommendations.
Dr. Al Nuaimi took a tour at King Abdulaziz University campus, visiting the research centre affiliated with the University as well as the University Hospital where he met faculty members, students, and staff of the College of Medicine.
