Peer Review Policy

Manuscripts submitted to the conference are approved by Editor-in-chief. After that, a formal peer review process is conducted in collaboration with editorial board members and independent referees around the world. The publisher exploits electronic peer-review system to contact reviewers and keep records of manuscripts.

Peer Review Process

Papers submitted to the conference must pass a single-blind review process. To publish in the conference the following criteria should be met:

  • The study presents the results of primary scholarly research.
  • Reported results have not been published elsewhere.
  • The research meets all applicable standards of ethics and research integrity.
  • Experiments, statistics, and other analyses performed to a high technical standard and described in sufficient detail.
  • Conclusions are presented in the appropriate form and are supported by the data.
  • The article is presented in an intelligible fashion and is written in standard English.

Once a manuscript passes quality control, it is assigned to a member of the editorial board (or an expert in the field which will become a guest editor) for conducting the peer-review process for making a decision on accepting, minor revision, major revision, or reject of the article.

  • The manuscript will be reviewed by two suitable experts in the respective subject area.
  • The reports of both the reviewers will be considered while deciding on acceptance/revision or rejection of a manuscript.
  • Editor-In-Chief will make the final decision, based on the reviewers' comments.
  • Editor-In-Chief can ask one or more advisory board members for their suggestions upon a manuscript, before making the final decision.
  • Associate editor and review editors provide the administrative support to maintain the integrity of the peer review process.
  • In case, the authors challenge the editor's negative decision with suitable arguments, the manuscript can be sent to one more reviewer and the final decision will be made based upon his recommendations.

Article Retraction

Editor’s decision is the decisive factor for all scholarly publications. However, this decision is based on Editorial Policies – which includes plagiarism, copyright etc. It becomes important to retain the Published articles as it is – without any alterations. However, owing to certain circumstances, a published article may at times be retracted, removed or may require a change. Retraction could be due to:

  • Plagiarism
  • Bogus Authorship
  • Fraudulent Data
  • Correction in Publication

Standards for Article Retraction at Science and Knowledge Research Society are:

The article PDF will remain available with the watermark “Retracted” available on it. Only in case of legal/controversial/incorrect PDF, they will be replaced or removed completely from the website with a note.
